Membership Award 2013, our membership meeting Sept. 1, 2013 voted on Rosemary Cianciosi, as member of the year. Rosemary has done service all her life and continues to do so. Her military active duty background began in 1960 to 1971 U.S. Air Force flight nurse 1966-1968. Separated Rank Captain U.S.A.F. At discharge worked at the V.A. Hospital as a nurse. When she retired in 1993 she began volunteering her experience at the V.A. outpatient clinic also in 1993, with numerous amounts of hours to the present time. In a her free time, it is a known fact she transports Veterans without cars to their appointments at the V.A. she also Volunteers for Hospice: “We Honor Vets” program. She joined the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 1003, took on Chaplain an women vets.Rosemary headed up several committees and continues to do so in a tireless fashion even though her health is starting to play a role in her wellbeing she continues to strive to help a vet of all ages. Her attendance at our meetings and participation is impeccable. So at this time we he highly recommend her as Florida State V.V.A. Member of the year.
