 | Chapter 522 held a fundraising event on Sun-day, May 26th at the Publix store located in the Booker Creek shopping center on East Lake Road in Palm Harbor. The event took place from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. under idal weather conditions. Four members of the chapter volunteered for the event - Joe Ellenberger (event coordinator), Doc Goodfellow, Mike Bousher, and Dick Ammon. We are extremely pleased to report that the event established new records for the chapter in terms of donations received for a single event and in rela-tionship to the total man hours devoted for the event. Joe will provide a financial recap at our June meeting. The five unique campaign buttons purchased last year continue to be very popular with our donors. The chapter would like to extend our thanks to the manager at the Publix store for providing us with the opportunity to conduct this event. The funds re-ceived will be used to support our primary mission of serving local veterans. |  |
