Taps

This page is dedicated as a remembrance of all Florida VVA and AVVA members that have passed. It is our intention to pay tribute and recognition to those VVA & AVVA members of our Florida chapters that passed away. These individuals that we recognize, not only served their country during a difficult time but also continued their service to family, country and other veterans. Please remember them in your prayers, your thoughts and in your hearts.

Much of the information on our brothers and sisters that have gone on to Glory, comes from the "Taps" section of the Veteran magazine. Much of that information is old and unfortunately limited. We encourage all of our Florida Chapters to help us recognize our departed brothers and sisters, by sending timely information to the Florida State Council Chaplain, Bob Dinkins, on a timely basis. Bob will in turn, notify your Florida State Council Officers of the member passing as well as letting the webmaster know to add that brother or sister to this list.

"We Will Never Forget"

Every day we lose more and more of our brothers and sisters. This section is not intended to be a political, religious or moral questioning of their death. That is for another place and time. And a different judge. This page is simply to pay homage, tribute and remembrance to those VVA members that have passed on.

This page is simply about remembering those VVA members that have gone on before us."We will Never Forget" and we will soon be reunited with them in "Glory" .

The list below is sorted by date of death. There are several other ways that you can choose to sort including name, chapter, branch and more.  Let me also add, that as your state webmaster, I only started this list in the last couple of years. Please feel free to contact Bob at chaplain@vvafsc.org or  webmaster@vvafsc.org for any member that you feel should be added.
